Our Surplus Stock Becomes Malawi School Supplies

We’ve always believed that great branded merchandise should make people feel valued. Now we’re making sure that belief reaches even further by donating all our surplus stock to Pepala.

Pepala is a brilliant organisation that repurposes surplus UK business stock into educational supplies for schoolchildren in Malawi. Through our British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA) membership, we discovered this charity and knew we wanted to help.

Turning Excess into Education

Every month, we end up with surplus stock. Sample products, extra items from completed projects, or stock that’s perfectly good but no longer needed. Instead of storing these items indefinitely, they’re now making their way to children who need them.

A branded notepad becomes a child’s first writing tool. A pen becomes a step toward literacy. A drawstring bag becomes something to carry school supplies with pride.

The Reality in Malawi

Many children in Malawi attend school without basic supplies. No pen, no notebook, no bag. Teachers work with limited resources, and students often share materials or go without.

Pepala’s volunteers sort donated items and match them to specific school needs across Malawi. Every pencil, notebook, and bag makes a difference to a child’s education.
